Biographical
Ross McCloy is a Founding Partner at the Firm whose primary areas of practice include general civil litigation and mediation. As such, he has over 40 years of trial experience in trying before juries and judges a wide range of cases, including commercial business litigation, education litigation, contract disputes, construction litigation, employment litigation, professional negligence claims, personal injury and wrongful death claims. His trial experience includes both state and federal court proceedings and claims. He is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in both Civil Trial and Business Litigation designations since 1990 and 1997 respectively. He was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2010.
Mr. McCloy has been a Florida Certified Civil Circuit Court Mediator since 1992. He has handled over 1,000 mediations since 1992 and has also served as an arbitrator on one and three person arbitration panels. He has been appointed as a mediator in federal court matters by a District Court Judge. The areas in which he has served as a mediator include a broad range of issues including corporate, construction and commercial litigation; personal injury and wrongful death claims; employment litigation; business break-ups and related disputes; professional malpractice issues; probate litigation and real property disputes.
After earning an undergraduate degree from Davidson College, Mr. McCloy went on to graduate from law school at the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University where he was a Board member of the Law Review. He has since served as a member and Chairman of the 14th Circuit Judicial Nomination Commission, as a member of the Board of Governors for the Florida Bar and as a member of the Florida Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Civil Cases.

Rates Information
For most mediations the rate for 2-party mediations is $200/hr. per party; for 3 party mediations $150/hr. per party; and for 4 or more party mediations $125/hr. per party. Please contact my office for mediations which may include more than 4 parties.
