Mike has a broad range of litigation experience in over twenty years as an attorney. He began his career in south Florida handling real estate matters and business formations. He subsequently worked for a large insurance defense firm in West Palm Beach handling a variety of cases throughout south Florida, including premises liability, professional liability, products liability, automobile negligence and hurricane property damage matters.

 

 Mike moved to Tallahassee in 2004 with his family and began working for a private law firm handling primarily auto negligence, premises liability, and insurance coverage matters. He has worked consistently on litigation matters since 2004, including brief service as an Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Department of Transportation, where he handled matters ranging from eminent domain, to telecommunications right-of-way contract litigation to maritime law litigation. More recently he has been involved primarily in the defense of auto negligence and insurance dispute matters.

 

Mike is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil Mediator. He brings his experience as a litigator to the full-time practice as a mediator with MC Mediations, LLC.
