Biographical

I appreciate your interest in the services I provide. Some background information may be helpful as you evaluate me as a prospective mediator or arbitrator.

There are several places I call home, growing up primarily in New Hampshire and Maine, but living and spending time with family and friends in other areas around the United States.

The first several years of my legal career were spent working for state and federal trial court judges in various clerkships, which provided me insight into the inner workings of courthouses and the litigation processes conducted in them.

I litigated for over twenty years, primarily in Florida, including several years as a partner with one of Florida’s largest law firms. My specialty was litigation, and I worked on a broad range of cases in different litigation arenas such as trial courts, arbitrations, administrative actions, and appellate courts.

I have been a full-time mediator and arbitrator for over four years. Mediation and arbitration processes are unique in the world of litigation. They can be tailored to provide disputing parties advantages that could never be achieved in conventional litigation processes.

Why did I become a mediator and arbitrator? To use those processes to help parties avoid the risk, uncertainty, stress, and expense of litigation. The goal of my work is simple, to provide clients with the very highest quality mediation and arbitration processes using the knowledge and skills acquired throughout my career.

My hobbies include spending time with family and loved ones on the beach, in the mountains, and all points in between.

Thank you for your consideration. I hope to serve you soon.
