Biographical

Mr. Gilbert K. Squires, P.E., BCS, FCCA, CIArbis an entrepreneurial global multicultural - multilingual – multidisciplinary servant leader – Double Board Certified Specialist (International Law; International Litigation and Arbitration) – International Arbitrator, Mediator, Business and Litigation Attorney. Special Magistrate City of North Miami Beach, FloridaOutside General Counsel.   

For nearly twenty years, Arbitrator Squires has served on the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and International Centre for Dispute Resolution’s (“ICDR”) Roster of Complex Business, Energy, Oil & Gas, Construction, and Maritime Arbitrators. He has been called upon to serve as ICDR Emergency Interim Measures Arbitrator and Joinder Arbitrator. He has served as sole arbitrator, tribunal chair, and tribunal wing. Also, he has worked as an advocate on ICC, AAA, and ICDR and as a Tribunal Expert on ICC matters. Those multimillion-dollar arbitrations have involved: Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas, Aviation, Technology, Wind Power, Aviation, Thermal Power, Maritime Construction, Energy Construction, Solar Energy, Internet, and Cellular Technology, Banking, Hospitality, and Music.

Also, Mr. Squires has been called on to mediate complex commercial, domestic and international matters. Real estate, music, entertainment business, civil service (municipal and fire service) mediations. He has lectured and served as faculty on the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation — The Singapore Convention. He serves as faculty for Domestic, International, Maritime,  Commercial, Energy, International Complex Business, and Construction Arbitration and Law Programs. Probate Arbitrator. Co-Founding member of the Miami International Arbitration Society (”MIAS”).
