Biographical
Gary S. Salzman is a shareholder with Garganese, Weiss, D’Agresta & Salzman P.A. He primarily handles litigation, mediation and arbitration for business, real estate, financial and employment disputes.
Gary has been Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Business Litigation since 1997. He has served six years on The Florida Bar's Board of Legal Specialization and Education and six years on The Florida Bar's Business Litigation Certification Committee. Gary has served on the 9th Judicial Circuit's Business Court Formation Committee and the Orange County Bar Association's Judicial Relations Committee. Gary is active in the George C. Young American Inn of Court, holds a "Master" designation, serves on its board of directors and was its President from 2011 to 2013. In addition, he served as an Elected Member of the Orange County Bar Association's Executive Council from 2009 to 2021.
Gary is a Florida certified circuit civil and appellate mediator, as well as a Florida Supreme Court trained arbitrator. He is also a long standing member of the International Centre for Dispute Resolution and American Arbitration Association's mediator and arbitrator panels for:

Gary provides alternative resolution services as a mediator, an arbitrator and a voluntary trial resolution judge. He received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in 1985 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1988 from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.

Rates Information

Minimum Fees: Minimum five (5) hour fee charged for each day for any arbitration final hearing, voluntary trial resolution hearing or mediation conference reserved in advance, unless it is canceled with at least 72 hours prior notice. If an entire day is reserved in advance, the minimum fee equal to five (5) hours will be billed and due in the event any arbitration final hearing, voluntary trial resolution hearing or mediation conference is concluded in less than five (5) hours.
Preparation, Study and Travel Time: All time expended in the connection with the arbitration, voluntary trial resolution or mediation will be billed at the above hourly rates for attendance at all hearings and mediation conferences. In addition, the above hourly rates will be billed for all time expended for study time, preparation for hearings and conferences, travel outside of the Orlando area, and review of summaries, legal research, memoranda, briefs, motions, pleadings and other documents submitted, as well as all post-hearing and post-conference services, such as drafting settlement agreements, preparation of mediation reports, analysis of evidence, deliberations and drafting final arbitration awards and final trial resolution decisions.
